Our Story

Paul and Squirrel's journey to creating the Lake Talk Radio Podcast is quite an inspiring one! It all began as a lighthearted joke on a summer evening by Eagle Lake in Big Lake, MN. With a speaker and two microphones, they started bantering back and forth about random lake-related topics. This spontaneous conversation led to the creation of the name "Lake Talk Radio."

Initially, it was just for fun, but after 6-9 months, they realized they had something special. They decided to take it seriously, investing in the necessary gear and equipment. On Christmas Eve 2022, they recorded their first episode, which they published in early January 2023.

Though it took some time to find their groove, Paul and Squirrel's podcast eventually took off. Now, they're on an exciting journey, and who knows where it will lead? Come along for the ride!
